Jennifer believes patient-centered care is the most beneficial approach to providing quality care. Jennifer began her nursing career in 2005 here in Colorado. Her nursing career has included working in hospitals, participating in nursing leadership, and caring for patients in community settings. This rich history helped guide her toward her current role as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) where she has the privilege of helping patients decide which mental health medications may be most beneficial and getting to know who her patients are outside of our office.

Jennifer utilizes your first session to get to know you, your goals, fears, uncertainties, and past relationships with medications. She provides education, answers questions, and encourages patients to advocate for themselves throughout their entire journey. Jennifer often says, “I don’t ever want patients to feel rushed to make a decision or pushed in a direction that is uncomfortable or feels unsure. It is not only my responsibility to help you to understand your options, but it is my privilege to do so.

Chris Wilhoite, founder of Littleton Couples Counseling, is an internationally-published researcher who specializes in personal growth and couples with ADHD. When she lost her husband to cancer in 2006, she promised herself she would do everything in her power to allow couples the opportunity to stay together and build a stronger relationships. Couples are made of individuals, and individuals have different needs. Chris is an extensively trained couples counselor, Certified Psychosexual Therapist (C-PST) with the International Association of Psychosexual Therapists and an AAMFT Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor in training. In 2025 she presented research findings on sexual side effects of psychotropic medications at the International Symposium on Sex Therapy (ISST) in Croatia. Chris presented research on the role of body image and sexual shame in women’s sexual dysfunction at the 2024 ISST. She will present at the 2026 conference as well. Chris is licensed in Colorado and Hawaii.

He is experienced in healing trauma and religious sexual trauma. In addition to his clinical work, Tommy oversees the long-term and strategic management for Littleton Couple’s Counseling.
