Tommy teaches ADHD and sex at IAPST Virtual Colloquium
Tommy Underhill taught the October Virtual Colloquium for the International Association of Psychosexual Therapists: ADHD in the sex-therapy room: what it looks like and how to work with it. His perspective looks at adult ADHD sexuality beyond the deficit lens. He joins a distinguished cohort of presenters including Judi Keshet-Orr, Dr Peggy Kleinplatz, Dr David Ribner, Dr Caleb Jacobson, Chris Wilhoite, and LaTanya Jones.
The IAPST Virtual Colloquium is a valued, free IAPST member benefit, takes place monthly on the third Wednesday and offers a unique space for in-depth learning and professional connection. Each session features expert guest speakers, discussions on recent research, and insightful case studies to keep you at the forefront of psychosexual therapy. Members who attend receive 1 Continuing Education (CE) credit per session, supporting ongoing certification and licensure requirements.
Tommy is a Certified Autism-Informed Professional (ASDI) and Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS). His training in neurophysiological approaches for social, relational, and sexual issues, combined with a unique approach to dual diagnosis and comorbid symptomatology, provides the framework for coaching and counseling people across the country. His work doesn’t solely come out of a book—it’s drawn from multiple real lives.
Tommy and I invite you to join IAPST for future engaging conversations that inspire growth and enhance clinical practice.
